Date of Birth ______________________________________
The puppy is sold to the purchaser on the following conditions:
The breeder has followed the Beagle Club guidelines and used the AKC health schemes and certification to ensure the sire and the dam are of sound breeding stock. The puppies have been reared in a household environment and have been wormed at 3, 5, 7, and 9 weeks.
The puppy has been vaccinated with _________________________________
The purchaser is strongly advised to have the puppy veterinary checked within three days of collecting the puppy. If the veterinarian certifies that there is a problem which makes the puppy unfit for sale, provided the puppy is returned in the same condition as it was when it was sold and within seven days, the breeder will take the puppy back and refund the purchase price.
The breeder has inquired of the purchaser his or her past experience with dogs and in particular with Beagles and on the basis of the information received is willing to place a puppy with the purchaser. The breeder has pointed out the idiosyncrasies of the breed and so has prepared the purchaser for the advantages and disadvantages of owning a Beagle.
The purchaser agrees that the dog will be kept in appropriate conditions for its welfare and health. It will be fed on a suitable diet for its age and condition and have appropriate exercise. It will receive all the necessary veterinary care to maintain its physical good health. The dog will never be tied up and will not be neglected or maltreated in anyway.
If circumstances occur where it becomes necessary to re-home the dog the breeder must first be notified and given the opportunity to take the dog back.
